Over the last two decades, CESS has conducted exploratory research exercises on a wide range of issues concerning economics and other social sciences, the results of which have helped in formulation of policies and decision making for overall national development. These investigations have dealt with vital themes such as Budgeting, work organization, Determinants of Poverty, Reform Process, Distribution of Vital resources, Income convergence, Population migration, Trade structure Vs. Economy, Health Insurance, Determinants of morbidity and mortality, industrial pollution.
