The Centre is equipped with advanced computer system and networking facilities. Every faculty member is provided with a Computer and Internet connection through LAN. In addition, LAN connection is available to the library, M.Phil/ Ph.D. research units as well as administrative staff. Research Assistants, Investigators and students also have access to the computer pool. Guidance and consultancy services in data processing are available under the aegis of ICSSR. Recently Video Conferencing Equipment is Installed.

A well-equipped Cartography Cell is also maintained by the Centre. Since 1983 this unit has completed several cartographic studies, viz. "Spatial Framework for Planning and Development Administration", "Godavari Valley Development Plan", "Shore Area Perspective Plan", "Medak District Planning Atlas", "Tribal Development Atlas of Andhra Pradesh", "Geo-thermal Atlas of Rajasthan", "Geo-tectonic Map of India", etc.

A comfortable guest house with well-furnished, spacious suites and modern amenities is available for accommodating the visiting Indian and foreign guests and dignitaries.

With separate blocks for library, faculty and administrative staff and guest house, the CESS campus presents a serene academic atmosphere for its research and teaching activities. The campus, dotted with lush greenery and gardens, accommodating some Heritage sites, provides a picturesque view to the visitors, giving a welcome aesthetic touch.
