Education :	After obtaining master degree in economics, he did his M.Phil and Ph.D.at the Centre of Social Medicine and Community Health, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He underwent postdoctoral programme in Health Economics at the School of Public Health, Johns Hopkins University, USA.
Research Interests :	Health and Development, Health Care Financing, Public-Private Mix in Medical Care and Health Sector Reforms.
